About Us

The Career Tech Business and Industry Partners program is an initiative of the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education (Ohio ACTE) in collaboration with the Ohio Association of Career Technical Superintendents (OACTS) and the Ohio Association of Comprehensive and Compact Career-Technical Schools (Ohio CCS). Frequently Asked Questions

Business and industry leaders who have current partnerships with a career technical program in the state of Ohio. These partnerships can happen at a career-technical school district, a comprehensive or compact or an Ohio Technical Center. A partnership might include sitting on an advisory committee, by supporting work-based learning experiences (internships, school-to-work, apprenticeships, etc.), financial donations/support, or providing tours, shadowing experiences or classroom speakers.

Your company will join the collective voices of business and industry statewide in expressing your support for career tech and building Ohio’s future workforce. Also, your company name will be included on our initiative website and your company logo may be showcased.
